MISSISSAUGA – Holiday spirit was fluttering through the air Friday night at the Erin Mills Auto Centre during the Olde Tyme Family Christmas event.

Held in partnership with The Mississauga News, even Santa Claus himself and one of his reindeer came out to spread joy at the Motorway Boulevard location.

Amid the snow-covered streets and fancy ice sculptures, rosy-cheeked attendees of all ages enjoyed treats, holiday music, fireworks and face painting as well as caricatures done by artists.

Food trucks were also present in the auto centre's parking lot to help out with grumbling stomachs and a number of vendors had those looking to knock a few items off their shopping lists covered.

Representatives from The Salvation Army, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Habitat for Humanity and MADD Canada also came out to spread the holiday cheer.
